[In 11.9.6] Minimum cue list window height

Post by genel » Sat Oct 15, 2022 4:16 am

I have on a couple of occasions accidentally dragged the horizontal bar below the cue list up to the top. I'd like to suggest that the column header size or maybe some reasonable number like 10 be the minimum size. That way I'll immediately know what happened to my cues.

Mod ready for the next release that will set limits to the movement of the splitter bar between the cue list and the cue panels. This will ensure that at least the cue list header and two cues are visible (if the splitter bar is moved up), and that at least some part of a cue panel is visible (if the splitter bar is moved down).

SCS is great and I typically use it in one way or another at almost every school and community show I run tech for. And I appreciate how open you are to new features. Speaking of which . . . .

As discussed above, at one time on the Main Page it was possible to use the Splitter Bar to slide the Cue Panel all the way to the bottom and out of sight. For me, doing so maximized screen real estate for the Cue List and minimized distractions. If I needed to see a cue’s details during development or running a show, it was easy enough to drag the Splitter Bar back up. In version 11.9.6, based on a user suggestion, you now require details of at least one or two cues to be visible in the Cue Panel at all times – the Cue Panel can no longer be minimized out of view.

I’d like to propose an Options / Display Options check box where it would be possible to revert to the original design where the Splitter Bar can go all the way to the bottom, or, maybe a check box could just disappear the entire Cue Panel (sort of like you can do with the Show Hotkey List option). The default could be Cue Panel on and up a bit so new users know it’s there but to eliminate distractions and maximize screen space, experienced users could hide it.
