In Level Change cues I'd like to see an added option to be able to lower and/or raise audio levels for any currently playing audio cue. And I'd like to be able to do that with a Hot Key.
This would be a great benefit for me as I do the same production with different casts and I would use this when I run across weaker singers singing solo parts during some songs. Raising mic levels is not always an option in these circumstances because of differing acoustic challenges when going from venue to venue.

Can you use the shortcut keys to decrease or increase the levels of playing cues (eg Shift+F11)? See Keyboard Shortcuts, specifically the info under "Change Levels Of Playing Cues".

Not the same thing. Using Shift+F11 and Shift+F12 is not fast or precise. Having an option in the Level Change cue to change any playing audio cue by, say, 5db at a preset time (1 second, for example) with one key stroke is much more useful. Setting a Hot Key to restore the level by the same 5db, rather than using Shift+F11/12 is more precise and doesn't require the operator to:Mike Daniell wrote:Can you use the shortcut keys to decrease or increase the levels of playing cues (eg Shift+F11)? 1) Remember the level at which the cue started playing; and
2) Have multiple keystrokes to attempt to get back to that level because each strike of the Shift+F11/12 shortcut changes the levels by .3db, thus needing at least 16 strikes of Shift+F11/12 to change the level by almost 5db. This is not efficient.
I could also create Hot Keys for each cue that would do what I desire but with a show that has 20+ songs that becomes impractical, especially when I am dealing with different casts each week for the same production (where each cast of singers is different, thus changing where I would need to dip the songs from week-to-week).
