Auto-find start of effect

I'd like to be able to position the cursor at a given point (most often at the start) in a audio file cue, and then click a button to move the "start" point to the next position in the file where the level exceed a preset (configurable) level, e.g. -40dB. This would enable be to very quickly set the cue start point to that there is no delay at the start of the cue.

Sorry for the delay in replying, but this is a feature I've been considering, or more specifically an 'auto-trim' button to set the start and end times. As you suggest, a configurable level for the auto-trim would be necessary.

Auto-trim would be perfect, thanks!

If SCS could find the zero crossings at the same time, that would be even more perfect! I usually use a 0.2s fade in to get a soft start without clicks, unless the music starts right at the beginning of the track and I need the attack.

Yes, I do that too. Good idea.
