Very Basic Windows Phone Version

Post by Eric Snodgrass » Wed May 27, 2015 4:12 am

I would love to see a very basic version of SCS for Windows Phone. There are certain gigs where I do not have my laptop, but I do have my phone, and the client comes up and needs some sort of specific walk-in music or a song or two played that I just happen to have on my phone. It would be nice to have a very basic version of SCS to call up on my Windows Phone to do this rather than the clunky Music app that is already on the phone. I see the SCS app as doing only a few things - Playlists, single cues and fades (with the fades possibly being separate cues that already have preset times).
I don't really trust the myriad streaming music apps because the streaming services don't always play the songs from the genre picked; I then have no control over the content being played - one inappropriate song could ruin the evening for a client.

I know it's not going to happen but I thought I'd put it out there anyway and see what kind of response this gets and if the idea has any merit with the rest of the SCS community.

I'd seriously consider moving from Android if this was available!
