I'd like a cue that when triggered will repeatedly play a file at random intervals between a specified minimum and maximum, until the cue is ended by one of the normal methods (eg duration, stop/fade etc.).
The idea is to be able to add random items to a looping backgound ambience cue so that it does not appear to be a loop. For example, an eerie interior background ambience running on a loop, to which random creaks, squeeks etc could be overlaid. Possible options might be to use a random seed for the random interval generator, so that the cue never plays the same twice, or to select a seed at cue creation time so that the same set of random intervals are generated each time the cue is triggered.
(I'm doing The Addams Family stage show in March 2015 and the director wants constant very low level ambience in the scenes in the house).

Re: Random Play cue
An interesting idea which could be of use in many shows. I needed something like this sometime ago in a production and set up a few hotkey cues, so randomly pressed the keys to get the required random effect.

Any chance of seeing this in V11.5
