Mike,

Is there any way that you could add a "make cues exclusive by default" option to somewhere? Maybe the general production properties?

For some shows almost everything is best made exclusive, and this would avoid trawling through the entire cue list setting everything one-by-one.

Yes, that's a reasonable request, but note that to save you having to set your cues one-by-one you can use Bulk Edit to quickly set the Exclusive Cue property on many or all cues.
