Set default time in Fade cue (in SCS 11)
Set default time in Fade cue (in SCS 11)
It would be useful to set the default fade time as a permanent setting either within the program or as on option at set up. I reckon 2 seconds is about right for most things. The current value is zero thus a Fade is a Stop. The override will allow customisation of each cue as needed
Re: Set default time in Fade cue
Good Idea, configurable default fade in & out times would be handy

Re: Set default time in Fade cue
What an excellent idea, I have just complete plotting a show with 41 image files and everyone has to be faded out with the performers exit and this ment i had 41 SFR cues all with the same F/O time.
So I'll add a big YES to this request.
PS. Could not do 'fade all playing cues' on a hot key as I had some music playing at the same time, maybe, Mike, a selection in the SFR cue a 'Fade out playing Image only' could be added.

Re: Set default time in Fade cue
Why didn't I think of that?
Just about every lighting desk i've ever used has a default fade time somewhere in it's settings. It makes sence for SCS to do the same thing.
Cheers
Richard

I'll add this to SCS 11. Note that you can use Bulk Edit to change the fades on audio and video cues but not currently on SFR cues. I'll add that as well in SCS 11.

Re: Set default time in Fade cue
Is a 'default fade time' only required for the SFR cue's 'Time Override for Fades'?
If I provide a default fade-in time and a default fade-out time for Audio File cues then that would imply all Audio File cues added after applying a non-zero setting would have that fade-in/out applied.

Re: Set default time in Fade cue
Hi Mike,
From my point of view , it would be better to have configurable defaults for 'fade out' and 'fade in' in audio cues.
On balance I apply fades to more audio cues than ones I leave at '0'
keep up the good work
