Greetings,
a feature that would greatly increase the speed to set up a projection beamer would be the ability to project a TEST pattern square image and the simple ability to warp the corners of the projection to adjust for trapeze effects. (One can spend ages trying to adjust to a "near perfect" square projection if beamers can't be placed exactly where they ought to be for best "square" images). Programs such as VPT 6.0 are capable of mesh editing the projected image of the beamer for this effect. I think that the ability to adjust the image does not need to be as complex as in VPT but a simple tool to adjust for beamer placement inaccuracies would greatly help. I would prefer to use SCS because the interface is simple, easy, functional and well thought out.
Thanks....Curt

Re: Video Output warping / mapping
It would probably be necessary to find a suitable DirectShow filter, but I haven't come across anything yet.

Re: Video Output warping / mapping
Only the test pattern would be a nice feature, just like the test-tone for audio....
And... don't forget to implement 'SCS' and the website adress

Greetings
I found this Open Framework kit in c++
http://projection-mapping.org/index.php ... frameworks
which may be of help to you to create some basic video mapping features such as warp
openFrameworks is an open-source c++ toolkit designed to assist the creative process by providing a simple and intuitive framework for experimentation.
