Autoexec cue list

Post by Willarki » Tue May 03, 2011 9:41 am

Been mucking around a bit with RS232 control of projector (switch on/off, lamp on/off , pic mute, input select, etc), much easier than using the remote. But I'd like some cue actions to occur either immediately SCS finishes loading or after the show file has loaded, and then conversely just prior to SCS close (projector on and off). What chance some sort of cue list that can have autoexec cues.

This is coming in SCS 10.8 although the details are still being worked out. There will probably be a "list clock" showing elapsed time, and that clock may optionally be auto-started when the cue file has completed loading. Individual cues may then be auto-started at a nominated time on the list clock, so for a cue to start as soon as the cue file is loaded you would set the auto-start time to 0.

There are currently no plans to auto-start a cue prior to closing the cue file or closing SCS. I guess you've experimented with a manual-start cue at the end of your cue file, but you could alternatively use a hotkey cue - either way it would be a single click or keypress to turn off the projector.
