The function of double click protection/delay has been removed in 10.7.6 RC1.
Could you please give an option to have double click protection/delay on the keyboard spacebar 'GO' commands

OK, I'll add that and make the default action that the double-click timeout will apply to keyboard actions, etc. The default action will then be the same as in 10.7.5 and earlier.
