Midi Control and still image extension (part in 10.5.0)

Post by tik-bonn » Fri Mar 13, 2009 8:15 am

Hi,

here are my feature requests based on the current 10.4.0 version:

1. Still Image extended option
The Still image function in 10.4.0 is very good, just what i needed. But there is a catch: you have to edit each image for use to match the designated video resolution (i.e. using a SXGA video projector, the image has to be exact size SXGA, which is 1280x1024 pixels, otherwise the image will be smaller than the screen and also placed off-center)
Is there a way to implement something like a "strech image" option

2. Midi Control Send
Using a Behringer LC2412 light board, you can control each fader and button with a direct value. However, to fade in/out over time would require to create a big pile of subcues with specific relative times and values.
Is there a way to implement (only for Control Change messages) a "fade" function using the following parameters: Midi CH.; Controller #; Start Value;End Value;Fade time (no more than 30 or 60 seconds) so the cue would be generating the value changes over time automatically?

Thank you for your hard work on this great software

You should find images display correctly in 10.5.0.
