Show Cue System

Hi Mike, any chance that we could have the option to include the 'When Required' field when printing the cue list?
Only if others think it would be handy!

Many thanks for a fantastic programme, been using it for 12 months now and the CD & MD we used before is gathering dust, they are just kept for visitors
The more productions we use it for, we realise just how versitile it is, trouble is the directors are now expecting better and more complicated SFX.

You can do it now.
From the SCS Help file - Printing the Cue List under Miscellaneous

Adjusting the displayed columns in the Cue List -
You can decide which columns you want to display in the Cue List by clicking the menu item Columns and then checking or un-checking fields as required.

"When required" is one of the available fields.
The Help entry goes on

Within the Cue List you can adjust individual column widths by dragging the column divider in the header, and you can reposition columns by dragging a column title. For example, to move the Cue Type column so that it is displayed immediately after the Cue column, click and drag the column title 'Cue Type' to the required position immediately after the 'Cue' column title.

I'm not sure whether other users would find this useful, but in my educational application of SCS it would be useful to be able to print off full details of the editor settings for each sound file/cue. I have had to resort to a screen print to show full editor details for each sound file, which, for larger programmes, can be quite painful. This would then show all details such as start/stop times, loop times, level and fade settings, etc., which are useful for my students to be able to provide evidence of competence to examiners.

An alternative to the screen prints is to print the cue file (the .scs file). This is in XML format so is reasonably understandable. If you print this file, I suggest you ignore the <Files> section, which is at the end of the cue file. Alternatively, maybe you could get an IT student to create a program to print the cue file in a more suitable format for the examiners. I could provide a list of the XML tags, and special meanings. Note that times (such as fade-out times) are held in milliseconds, so a fade out time of 2.5 seconds is held in the cue file as 2500.
