Editor - Change Cue type

Hello again
When creating a mixed production i.e. not just audio SFX I like to enter all the cue information first from the script. This is ok when the technical solution is know before this process. However is some instances I have added an audio cue, then wish to change it to a control cue, or perhaps I wish to use the audio cue for the initial rehearsals, so the director and cast get the feel for the timing, but change the cue type as rehearsals progress.
As the Cue properties are the same for each cue type, would it be possible to "change" cue type. perhaps by right clicking on the cue list in the editor? I currently have worked around this by adding a sub-cue of the new type, then remove the original (now sub cue 1). Also I found directly editing the SCS file was successful.
Proposal just for consideration, and to see if anyone else had their own methods.
