Option to create a "Show Library" Folder (already available)

I'm using Windows Vista and I have ripped a few of the CDs of songs/sounds onto my Laptop using Windows Media Player. As most of you may know, any ripped CDs are automatically placed into a directory/folder inside of the "Music" directory/folder within your User Profile. In addition to the stuff I've ripped off of a CD, I've also downloaded sounds into a "sounds" directory/folder located in a completely different location. So, when I go to add an audio file in SCS, it always defaults to the last location I selected--which, 9 times out of 10, is the wrong place for the next audio file.

To make it easy when setting cues--AND, to make it easier to back up (or copy to a thumb drive or CD--see the previous topic), would it be possible to have a directory structure in place for SCS that all of the audio that is in your show is copied to? I like the functionality of picking audio from any location but I also like the idea of being able to copy a single directory/folder to a thumb drive for safe keeping.

I do realize that I could just copy all of the audio to a single directory/folder at first (and I will once I set these cues for good)--but not everyone is computer-savvy so it may be a headache for some people.

Thoughts?

Michael,

Have a look at Editor/Production/Production Folder.

Greetings,
