Mike,
Would it be a problem to have the playlist cues generate the order of a random playlist each time the cue is called? Currently the order is determined when the Random box is checked or the cue file loaded. I'm trying to use SCS for an awards ceremony. I have a drum roll, a drum finish (like a cymbal crash) and then the music while the recipient walks onstage. For each award, I go back to the drum roll cue, hit the go button, then when the award is announced, I hit Go again. The cymbal crash plays, then the music cue is auto-activated a second later. I thought about using a playlist to randomize the music that's played, and I'd just fade out the music before the next track in the playlist activates. But since the random order is only determined once, it doesn't work for this application. Would it be a problem to change the order determination to, say, as the playlist cue is loaded to memory?
Thanks
Jason

Wow. Thanks Mike. I've downloaded the pre-release and the random order loading works great! I'm really impressed with your response. You probably have just sold another copy of SCS - I'm trying to get the live events team at the production company I work for to buy it for live event sound and music triggering. I wanted to sell them on the fact that they don't have to arrange the music cues beforehand - we can have SCS play a random track from a list for award music. Now when I demo it for them I can show them!
Actually showing them it works is so much better than saying "The programmer says this feature will be available in the next release..."
Thanks!
