scs_colors.scc

Post by Boswell » Mon May 31, 2010 7:01 pm

Hi Mike,
Can you see any downside to keeping the 'scs_colors.scc' file in the production folder?
It would mean that all the files for a production are kept in one place and that any mods done at home etc would be automatically transferred along with the show.

At the moment, different operators set up the colours as they want and you have to remember to take your personal scc file in with you when you do a new show.
Being lazy I know, but might make it slicker.

Seems reasonable. I could add an option to create/resync production folder to copy the current scs_colors.scc, and on opening a cue file SCS could look in that cue file's folder for scs_colors.scc and use it if found.

Totally agree with this one . . . it's been at the back of my mind for ages but have never got around to mentioning it. If I remember correctly I believe that XP and VISTA keeps this file in different places so this will overcome that issue also.

Cheers . . . . Martin

I'm planning a few mods for a 10.7.4 release, so should be able to include this.

Many thanks, just setting up a new computer for the FOH position and it reminded me!
I'll wait for SCS11 for the configurable highlighting of the next manual cue!!
