Extra field - Script page number

Post by john-tapas » Fri Jan 02, 2009 10:05 am

A simple addition that I think would save time, in particular at rehearsals, would be another column on the cue list for the Script Page Number

When rehearsals start, using cue numbers is frequently a lost cause because;-
1 Que numbers get changed as additions are made, pages are set in stone.
2 Cast and Director are all talking script page numbers

I put page numbers at the start of the description field, eg P4 Fade Car, Betty ON or in the 'When required' field
but I agree it could be useful as long you could select not to display it if required.

Inserting the page number at the start of the Description, as per Boswell's suggestion, is what I always do and have found this sufficient.

HI

I have found that with Mikes flexible Cue Numbering, I use the Cue number field to hold both the page number and then a letter designating that cue, i.e. 21a page 21 first cue. I suppose this would get more difficult when there are more than 26 cues to a page, but with our productions there is no chance on that happening, mores the pity :?
