"Save As" button in editor

Post by jkowtko » Fri Mar 09, 2007 12:13 am

I am really paranoid about overwriting a good program with a botched one. So I would like the ability to easily version my program files.

One easy way to do this is by saving the file with a new name. To do this, the editor needs to have a 'Save As'button.

When you click 'Save As', the file dialog should open up in the same directory as the original file, and display the current filename in the filename textbox so you can modify it (with new version number suffix) and quickly save. The new file should then be automatically opened in the program.

Thanks. John

Never mind ... I found the "Save As" drop-down menu in the Editor ... I'm all set :)

Actually, I just want to mention, as I did for the "Save Version" feature request, that the SCS Editor should remember the last directory you saved to so you don't have to find it again every time you do a Save As.

In 9.4 I'm changing the cue file dialogs (Open, Save and Save As) to start from the directory last used when a cue file was opened or saved.
