Support for QLab files

Post by PhilVale » Mon Aug 04, 2025 12:12 am

I'm sure you've looked at this before Mike but is there anyway that SCS can support QLab files, either export or import them from a memory stick or preferable a shared drive like OneDrive. (Although OneDrive is not too good on a Mac.)

I occasionally end up by colaborating on a production with someone who is a Mac user rather than a PC user and it would make it infinitatly easier if we could get some common file format or some way to export and import.

Hi, you can import from .csv files, can qlab export such? The internet suggests that .qlab files are JSON, so parsing for input may be possible. However I don't have a Mac or qlab to investigate. You may be able to convert to .csv with one of the online tools. https://formatjsononline.com/json-filter

If you send a qlab file to the support email I can take a look.

Thanks Dee,

I don't have one because I don't use QLab but I'll have a chat with one of the guys I'm working with who does.
