Dear SCS,
I am a brand new user of SCS, having purchased your Platinum software just a couple days ago. Upon creating a few new shows with it, I'd like to make a request for a "Fade All" button next to the "Stop All" button in the upper left control box of the software. I've included an image of a screen shot, with the suggested "Fade All" button photo-shopped into place as a reference.
My reason for the request is simple: Our venue runs a lot of improvisation and spontaneous shows that often require the ability to quickly fade all cues at random places throughout a show. By implementing a master "Fade All" button this would make it very easy to do that without any need for additional programming or tweaking of cues within a show.
Whether there is one or multiple cues running at once, by clicking on the "Fade All" button it sends a master fade control to every active/current cue. Very similar to your "Stop All" button already in place, but with the ability to set fade time to whatever you want, rather than an instant stop. Perhaps the default could be a 2 or 3 second fade, but in the "Options and Settings" window this master control could be set to any time amount.
Thank you for considering this. I think it would add a wonderfully useful feature to an already fantastic program.
Kindest regards,
Frank Dolansky

Re: Fade All button request
Note that you can set up a hotkey to do this - it just won't appear in the toolbar. Set up an SFR HotKey cue to 'fade out and then stop' 'all playing cues'. Set the 'time override for fades' to your required fade time. See Stop / Fade-Out / Release (SFR) Cues for more info.
Re: Fade All button request
I understand that. I just like the idea of seeing (and having the option to click on) an actual "Fade All" button, just like the "Go" and "Stop All." I'm sure it's probably quite a task for the developers at this point in the game, so I'll just accept that it most likely won't get implemented.
I've been using an older piece of software called MultiPlay, and that was one of the main features we really liked about it. We got very used to being able to use that as a regular part of our many sudden "on the spot" shows that didn't have much time to program.
In grace and peace,
Frank
