Analogue joystick port as cue control device

Post by djvomght » Fri Feb 21, 2020 9:21 pm

Hello Mike and all,

some days ago I bought an analogue joystick to usb adaptor for some experiments and found it very usable for simply connecting up to 4 buttons to the computer without fiddling around with drivers. I used Antimicro to convert the pressed buttons to simulate keypresses on the keyboard to fire cues on SCS. It worked very nice but I think it's better to use the joystick port directly.
I would like to have the 4 buttons assigned to "Go", "Confirmed Go", "Pause/ Resume" and "Stop". Since the joystick port has up to 4 simple A/D- converters, one could connect 4 potentiometers to control the master fader and perhaps the volume of the currently playing cue.

Best regards
Jörg
