Hi Mike
I put page numbers into all our cues using the page number field, and now our general rehearsals are over (where we use the tracks in alphabetical order for ease of finding random songs) I'm putting them into running order for the final non-dress/dress rehearsals and thought... how about being able to sort cues by page number, automatically?
I guess also (thinking aloud) it would be good to sort alphabetically as well whilst you're at it?

I tell you what, just completely ignore me
I just realised sorting is in a different place to renumbering or bulk editing - I don't think i've used the Copy/Move/Sort button before!

it also would be awkward when there are four or five cues on the same page
That shouldn't be a problem provided your cue numbering complies with the note on 'Sorting' explained under
Copy, Move, Delete or Sort a Range of Cues as the sort order is cue number within page number.

As Mike says, it's even better than I'd thought.
It only went slightly awry when i'd added my Finale Walkdown fade after i'd added by Finale Walkdown, so when it sorted by Page and Cue number, the Walkdown started then faded rather than the other way around!
But, I'll gladly fix one or two anomolies like that than cut/paste or drag 100 odd cues into order by my script!
