Hi,
I am trying out controling SCS on a different PC for our theater play next week. However the control command is not received.
I have verified that the UDP control command actually arrives at the other PC (using a echotool - see screenshot). Also SCS seems to open the correct UDP port because it complains when the echotool still blocks this port.
However, when i open the 'Test Network control...' window it stays empty and does not show control commands sent over. See second screenshot for configuration.
Anything I am doing wrong here?
Greg

Re: Controling SCS on a different PC via network does not work
Hi, can you please send this information plus screen shots of the sending PC setup and the log files from a run where this fails please to support@showcuesystems.com. Log files can be found in your "documents\scs logs" folder".
Thank you, Dee.

What application do you use to send the encoded OSC messages? Have you tried sending ASCII messages? You can switch to view ASCII messages via the menu in the red circle below.

Problem solved. The issue only seems to occur with the (expired) Demo version which otherwise seemed to work well (within the 5 min interval).
In the meantime i got an actual PLUS license. With this license this works now like a charm.
