Image cue crash

Adding multiple images to a cue for slide show:
If an image is corrupt, wrong type, or too large (could not find how big is too big), SCS will crash/close.
Trapping and displaying offending file(s) would be nice.
Some PNGs would do the same so I suspect they may have been too large so converted to jpg and they worked.

If you send your log files from a run with a crash (can be found in documents\SCS logs) to support@showcuesystems.com it will be looked at.

That's not the log file from a run that crashed. All that happened in this run was that SCS was opened and then closed from the initial screen. No cue file was opened, etc.

Thanks for looking Mike. Let me try again here. I recreated the issue today and hope I have the log now.

Seems like you're pushing the boundaries! You are trying to add 113 image files in a single 'Add Image' command. Have you tried adding a single image or just a few images in one command?

So this is an atttempt to load one png image. It's size is 663 kb. It opens in all other programs (Irfan, MS office, photoshop, paint etc.)

It crashes SCS

OK - the file it was trying to open when it stalled was "WI-Power-Light-1940sign.png", and on re-checking your previous log I see that SCS stalled on the same file, and that was the 112th file that it accessed. So all prior 111 files opened OK.

Please email me the file "WI-Power-Light-1940sign.png".
