Editor window won't open

Hi,
Running SCS 11.4 on a Windows 10 machine.
I am attempting to open the editor to edit the cues in a show that has already been set up.
The windows hourglass appears and it looks as though the editor can't open. I have waited for up to 30 minutes for it to open, then additional time if I attempt to view sub-cues or audio/video cues. The computer's processor sits at around 25% utilised, but the disk value registers as 100% the entire time.
What I have found is that if I saveAs the file to a new name then the editor pops open straight away and I have no problems editing the cues.
As soon as the cue file has been used in a show or the computer is rebooted, the editor has the same issue. It seems as though it is having trouble reading it's own save file.
I cannot upgrade at the moment as the show is live and don't want to risk losing everything while we are in the middle of a run (as has happened previously).
Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions?
Thanks
Chris
