[Fix 11.2.1] Save settings not working???

Either I have gone daft or I have a bit of a problem. I have a cue file I have being using for ages and before if I made a manual change to the level of an audio cue and then the Save Settings option came up, then if I selected yes save the changes then the cue file was updated. Now I get Save Seetings highlighted, say yes please, and the changes are not saved.

Curious?? Is there an option somewhere I have inadvertently clicked on to stop this working, or is maybe my cue file a bit corrupted - I have moved it from V10 to V11 and back a couple of times.

I am getting the same thing in V10 and V11

All help appreciated - I have 2 days left before the next performance and this is driving me mad and getting me worried about the state of my cue file . . .

Cheers from sunny France

Richard

Should be working - I've just checked it here.

Could you email me a diagnostic dump file? You can create this file by starting SCS and selecting 'Create Diagnostic Dump File' from the drop-down menu displayed when you click the Help button in the main window. The file will be saved in a folder named "SCS Dumps" under "Documents" or "My Documents". (NB the diagnostic dump file menu item only exists in SCS 11.)

Bug confirmed - fix ready for the next release. I've emailed you details of a pre-release so you can use the fixed version now.

The problem was this: if you selected 'save settings' for a cue that was still playing, then your manual level changes would be saved OK. But if the audio file sub-cue reached the end then the 'manual change' indicator was (incorrectly) cleared and 'save settings' would therefore ignore the changes you made.

A huge thanks to Mike who got news of this problem late on Friday night and had a fix within 24 hours. This is an example to the world of what good customer service is.

Cheers from a very happy bunny in sunny France
