Mike,
I'm having a problem editing playlist file parameters in 11.1.4. I can't use the mouse to select individual files in the play list to set their relative levels, transition type or time or to change which file is the highlighted file for test "Highlighted file only". The only way I can change which file is selected/highlighted in the playlist editing pane is to play the playlist through (first 5/last5) and stop it playing on the file I want to edit. Then that file is highlighted and I can set those parameters or play the file using "highlighted file only"
OS is Win2000ProSP3. Dump file in e-mail.
Thanks,
Dave

That's odd. Works OK here. I'm wondering if it's some incompatibility with Windows 2000. Have you tried rebooting the machine and trying again?
I see from the dump file that you've disabled the VU meters - is that because of performance reasons on the machine? How much RAM do you have?
The dump file also shows that the SCS preferences file has some invalid entries, but these shouldn't affect playlist cues. I'll email you a corrected preferences file.

Just a comment since I wrote the above - you cannot click on tracks in the playlist while the playlist is playing, but when you stop playback the tracks should be re-enabled.

I hadn't tried rebooting - but I had tried stopping and starting SCS, which didn't help. After a reboot it is now working correctly.Mike Daniell wrote:That's odd. Works OK here. I'm wondering if it's some incompatibility with Windows 2000. Have you tried rebooting the machine and trying again?

I had also noticed some other strange behaviour at the time - for example when I went back to a previous cue that had sub-cues and then ran it, sometimes only the first sub cue ran. Also on several occasions when testing a cue in the editor, the time display was not updating in the editor window (but it was in the main window).
It's a Pentium IV 2.66 Ghz with 1Gb RAM.
