If you encounter a bug in SCS, please supply at least the following information:
  • The full version number of SCS, eg 11.3.7. This is displayed on the splash screen and also under Help / About.
  • If an error message is displayed, please include the exact text of the error or preferably a screenshot of the error. It's not much help just to say 'SCS crashed'.
  • If you are running SCS 11 there is an option under Help in which you can create a Diagnostic File. Please create this Diagnostic File and email it to me. The Diagnostic File will contain your current cue file, device map file, preferences (ie options), various environmental settings, and the current values of selected variables. It will also include the key events that occurred in the current session.
We endeavor to fix bugs asap. Bugs are generally easier to fix if I can reproduce them. This, to a large extent, depends on the amount and quality of information supplied in the bug report.
