I'm running into an ASIO crash problem on a Dell Precision i7 core Windows 10. I'm experimenting running SCS in various legacy modes.
I have an important show coming up and need the system to run stable. Who doesn't? I ain't buying a Mac and running Q Lab. Not an option!
The show is simple. One or two dozen songs. Each song has two audio files. 1) stereo backing tracks assigned to 1-2. 2) mono click track assigned to 3-4. I output these balanced lines either to a Mackie mixer for rehearsals or send all four TRS lines to direct boxes for FOH and return to house and/or monitors.
I can't seem to get through a song without the ASIO crashing. I believe the error message is SCS 1.11.1.4.
I ran the demo version for two weeks without issue so made my decision to purchase SCS Pro to have the option of multiple outputs.
Edit: I failed to mention I loaded SCS Pro without first uninstalling the demo version.
Please advise!
Cheers!
[Resolved] Behringer UMC404 Interface with SCS Pro
Re: Behringer UMC404 Interface with SCS Pro
I solved my own problem by installing a firmware update on the interface. At least now it's documented here. SCS works on Win10 with no issues.
