[Fix 11.3.7]Individual pan reset when selecting level points

Post by BritGeek » Tue Dec 23, 2014 11:06 am

Using SCS 11, Standard edition (thus I only have the basic fade-in/fade-out level points)...

- Open SCS, load file Demo.scs11, go into the editor and select the Helicopter cue.
- In the audio graph, Ctrl-Click one of the four Pan icons. Click the “Pan individual” button when prompted.
- Now, use Ctrl-Click to adjust the four individual pan values in the audio graph.
- Use the Audio Devices/Level Points drop-down to review the four Level Points. As each level point is selected in the drop-down, the Pan value for that point is reset to the center, both on the audio graph and on the L/R fader.
- After further experimentation I found that it’s actually resetting the Pan value to the current Audio Device pan value, not necessarily the center
- After setting the individual pan levels, I can save my changes, quit the session and restart, and reviewing the pan levels will still reset them.

While experimenting with this, I got into a state where the Level Points drop down didn’t select the correct level point in the audio graph. Selecting the Start point or the Fade In point didn’t select anything in the graph; selecting the Fade Out point in the drop-down selected the Start point in the graph, and selecting the End point in the drop-down selected the Fade In point in the graph. Unfortunately I can’t figure out the series of steps to repeat this - if I can figure it out I'll let you know.

Regards
Tim.
