Hello!
I’ve been testing a new copy of SM-S with SCS and found what I think is a couple bugs.
Using version 11.9.8
1. Cues with a Cue Marker as the activation trigger don’t trigger when using SM-S. If I changed the device back to just Direct Sound or ASIO (using BASS) the CM auto trigger works fine.
2. Stereo files that are played to a device that is only a single channel seem to overdrive the device with distortion. I can see in the SM-S Monitor that 2 tracks (L & R assume) are actually started and played but have the high volume distortion as mentioned and also seem to have some phase issues. I can correct the problem by converting the file to mono in an external program and importing.
Thank Mike!
We’ve been using SCS for many years now with good success!

Re: SM-S server: Cue Marker Triggers and Stereo Files
Kendel,
Regarding item 2 in particular, please email me the SCS log file from a run in which this happened. Log files are created and saved in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents", and the name of each file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started.
