Current Information didn't work in 11.8.1 (now corrected)

It has since been corrected itself, but I found that the Current Information panel, available from the View menu, doesn't work in 11.8.1 in my system. I don't use if often, but knew it worked earlier in the year. Building a show today in 11.8.1, which I installed in June, I found it wouldn't work, in spite of re-installing. To satisfy myself I wasn't dreaming I reinstalled 11.8.0 and it worked. I updated to 11.8.1.2 and found it working again.

This may be one of the under-the-bonnet unmentioned fixes you dealt with, or the side-effect of other changes.

Yes, you're right. This was fixed for 11.8.1.2. The error was due to a side effect of resizing a control which destroyed everything currently drawn in that control.
