[Fix 11.8.1] Repeatable crash when placeholder-playlist and video cue as subcues

Hi!

Having a video file following an empty "[Placeholder]" audio playlist as sub-cues crashes SCS for me.

Steps to Reproduce:

(in the editor)

• Cues -> Add Playlist Cue
• Cancel, and "Yes" to create placeholder.
• Cues -> Add Video/Image Cue
• Find a video, add it.
• Select the video cue, and press the "⮥" to join the two cues together

And I get a crash, the error dialog is attached. The text is:

I have a similar problem. I just created a cue file (132 cues) with a number of 'place holder' cues of various sorts: playlist, audio and video/image cues. No problem creating the cue list - but coming out of editor and running the show it crashes. Error message attached. Cue file also attached - error occurs raround Q80 - 82 depending. Running SCS 11.8.0.1 (x64).

I am having the same issue. I built the show and it ran fine. I came back 24 hours later and the program won't let me in.

Running 11.6.0 I get this first screen, then the second, then the program crashes. No way to fix the issue, just dead in the water. I'm supposed to start tech in an hour.

Update on the above post. We downloaded the last version available and it did not fix the problem.

I had almost exact same thing, but just using a playlist placeholder with audio sub cue, and a call cue sub cue.

One could not exit the editor or save the cue list after deleting this cue.

I was able to work around problem by editing the cue out of the XML file.
