Video is displayed to late / Video latency

Hi SCS-Users and team,

I want to have some video cues controlled by scs in an off-musical. The videos are in the .mp4-format in FullHD. I just put those videos in a cue list. Every now and then I'm hitting the spacebar, to have the next video played at the right moment of the show. Somtimes its really important to play the cue with the music from a live band. The new video cue is meant to replace the one before without any pause between those two. A crossfade between those two cues would be possible but should be really fast.
The content will be shown on an external display wired by an HDMI cable.

My problem: The videos do play, but the video content of the next cues starts to late. The audio is already running, but the video is lacking/missing and is displayed 0.5-2 seconds later. But there is no latency/delay between audio and video. Its just that the video content is shown to late.

Do you know this bug? I hope that you can help me immediately. If you need any further information, feel free to let me know, please.

Thanks for the diagnostic file your emailed me. As I mentioned in my reply, I suggest you increase the 'max. no. of video files to pre-open' to 20.
