Hi all. I am a prospective customer and fellow forum member. I am a hobbyist show producer doing small-scale community events on my own money.
I have been running audio from Windows PC through HMDI to a domestic 7.1 Denon AV amp which can despatch to a combo of bookshelf and floor-standing 8ohm speakers. The amp is 12 + years old and I would like to take the next step up in power, quality and reliability of audio but not sure how. Thought this forum could be a good place to ask.
I think the question is along the lines of: Recommendations for good value USB-C external 7.1/8channel sound cards and suitable amplifier (at least 100W/channel) - or a single unit for both - that can be used with domestic 8ohm speakers?
Grateful for advices and experiences.
