SCS losing track of currentcue.

Post by genel » Tue Feb 28, 2023 9:04 am

We're doing sister act. Having some problems in second act.

MTI combined 3 songs into a single track plus a tag, about 6 minutes long. During this 6 minutes there are gun shots that I have doubled with my own effect to a speaker next to a performer, plus I have cues that control the volume of the music and the performers based on whats happening and who's singing. Every thing works fine except that when that background cue finishes. SCS gets to the finish of the background cue and it repositions the current cue four cues back. So I have to quickly figure out where we are and manually click the correct next cue. This is not fun. How can I tell scs not to change position when that background music stops.
Or, do I have to compute the exact time everything occurs in the background music and stick it into the single background music cue as subcues, essentially making it a normal foreground q?

Please email me the log file from a run in which this happened. Log files are created and saved in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents", and the name of each file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started. Also, please tell me which cues were involved, particularly the 'background cue'.
