Show Cue System

Hi Guys,
we are using SCS in an theatrical environment. Now we have Topic that our actors need something like a cue monitor. I like the idea with the Memo file where you can read where you are at present in the Play. Our director doesn´t want to use the Memo because she wrote everything in word with Special marks and hints so that her whole Format would be gone. The idea with the Memo is good but pdf for example would be a more flexible solution.
Do you have an idea how to solve this issue?
The second Point would be that there are multiple screens where this documents should be shown. Do you know any solution how to, for example record the second screen and stream it to all the other Displays?

Would be great if there would be some hints or ideas.

The Run Program cue type can be used to display a PDF file, but I doubt that this is quite what your director needs. In Run Program in the editor you just need to browse for the PDF file to populate 'File or Program to Run'. Then, when you run this cue, the Adobe Acrobat Reader (or whatever program you have assigned for handling PDF files) will display the file content. However, there is no ability in SCS to interact with the program displaying the file, so no way to automate paging through the script.

Sorry, but can't help regarding showing the PDF file on multiple screens.

The Memo is is a special own formatted solution, or?
Just thought about the possibility to insert an html document or just html tags. This could be exported from Word. There would be the possibility to insert tables for example.

this is a little bit tricky, but we control the Blackmagic ATEM software running on a separate computer the following way:
At first, install rtpMIDI on both computers. The software will prompt You to install Apple Bonjour, please do so and after this remove Bonjour Print Services and the updater, You will not need them.
On the computer serving the cue monitor, install MIDI Translator Classic.
Now You have to find out, which keystrokes the software for the cue monitor is using.
Next: rtpMIDI will establish an additional MIDI- interface, usually named the same way as the computer it is running on. Make a connection between these two computers, they need to be in the same network, of course.
On the remote computer, set the MIDI translator to use the MIDI interface from rtpMIDI as input. Set up translations from incoming MIDI to the keystrokes the software needs. Let MIDI translator run in the background, the software for the cue monitor must have the input focus to receive the keystrokes generated by the translator (that is, why it must run on a separate machine).

To split the video output of the remote computer: There are splitters for VGA, SDI etc. available, You have the choice.
