Conditional cues

Post by Bedford Performers » Sat Jan 27, 2018 10:37 pm

I'm running a show which involves 2 teams of performers and the running order is different depending on which team is doing the performance. Is there a way of making some cues only run depending on a selection somewhere of which team is current - maybe in a previous note cue.

I suggest you use a separate cue file for each team, but you could also keep your existing cue file as the 'master' if required. Open your current cue file and use 'save as' to create each team's cue file. You can then make any adjustments required, such as deleting cues not required by that team.

Another solution is to use Enable/Disable Cues. You could, for example, have a hotkey cue for each team where you enable and disable other cues as required for that team. If necessary, the hotkey cue can have more than one sub-cue - each 'enable/disable cues' sub-cue can handle up to 5 ranges of cue numbers.

Hi.. Thanks for the replies. I have been using the master file/copy approach. Appropriately disabling cues for each team's copy.
