Mixing live with vst plugins

For quite a while, I have been looking for a great way to mix live and be able to use some of all my many vst plugins, especially my Soundtoys and Audiodamage plugins. It seems that I have found a satisfying and cheap solution using only a PC, a soundcard and a controller.
I am using Liveprofessor 2 http://audiostrom.com/ as a vst host, which can change scenes/cues using plugin snapshots or global snapshots, which I can control by using midi show control cues from SCS. I use a Behringer bcr2000 midi controller to control bypass, mix, wet/dry and so on, at the vst plugins. All my audio cues from SCS I can route to different channels and plugins in Liveprofessor using O Deus ASIO Link Pro http://odeus-audio.com.au/Odeus/AsioLink, and the same goes for live microphone input plugged into my soundcard.
I know that a similar solution has been mentioned: http://www.showcuesystems.com/forum/vie ... 280&p=4197 using Rearoute and Reaper. But Reaper is much more than a plugin host and the big difference is that you can“t change scenes/cues using snapshots in Reaper.
If anyone has any tips, or want to know more about this setup in details, please reply to this topic.
