Awful 'Double GO' and 'Exclusive Cues' (to prevent it)

The obsession of all sound technicians, is the double "GO".
I mean pressing twice, unintentionally on the "GO" button.
Sometimes it does not matter, sometimes it can be horrible, especially in the case of fast dialogues. (Two voices of the same person that overlap, it's awful !!!)
SCS philosophy is based on these real cases we encounter.
Therefore, there is a SCS function to temporarily block the button 'GO', preventing the play of the next Cue, as long as playing Cue has'nt finished playing.
This is called "exclusive Cue" and can be activated individually for each of Cues in the Editor (by checking the box "exclusive Cue").

However, it may happen that one should send the following cue anyway (eg if the actor on stage jumped several sentences).
SCS also predicted this scenario:
Although an exclusive Cue is playing, you can still send the next Cue by pressing simultaneously the "CTRL" key and the "GO".

SCS thank you so much for having thought of us.

Ah yes, I forgot: You can enable / disable this function "CTRL" + "GO" in Options / Shortcuts.
By default, it is disabled in SCS.

Phew, saved !!

Or you can just activate the double click timeout in the options, to prevent a double trigger. set it to 1sec and it should be fine.

Both solutions are good.

Michel (mwfr) also suggested a change to the message "'Go' button disabled because exclusive cue <x> is currently playing". If the option "'Ctrl' overrides exclusive cue for 'Go' methods" is set, then that message will now be displayed as "'Go' button disabled because exclusive cue <x> is currently playing, but you can enable 'Go' by holding down Ctrl". This change will be included in SCS 11.4.0.1.

Now THAT is awesome. There are cues I DON'T tag as exclusive *just in case* something of that sort happens. But knowing that it's exclusivity can be overridden is going to change that...

[EDIT]

*AND* (how cool is this...) one of the most SCS-intensive productions I run every year is a film festival. During the awards portion, it was always just a set of either images or video loops with each award. A "GO" went to the next one. Couldn't make them exclusive because the next one needed to go when called. But with THIS, they're "protected" from what could be an accidental "GO" -- You really have to mean it, you know? Very handy.
