Column headings

Post by eightacre » Tue Nov 14, 2023 8:43 pm

Could someone tell me how to change the "standard" column headings? I am working on a show where some headings (e.g. "page" and "when required" are not particularly relevant, and I would prefer to change them.

That only allows me to select WHICH columns are displayed. What I need is to rename some of the columns to make it more appropriate for a particular show.

Judging by the lack of replies to this query, I guess this one is on the "too difficult" pile.....

You can copy to clipboard and then paste this in Excel. There you can edit everything.

What alternative column headings are you wanting to use?

For instance "page"is not applicable, but "time" would be. "When required" not particularly helpful, but "performer" would be.
Is there not a way I can customise the headings?

Sorry, I thought you wanted to print the list. In that case you can export the list and change it in Excel.
But you want other headings in SCS itself. I can't help you with that.

Bumping this thread!

I would also like to be able to customise the existing column headings OR to add extra columns with customisable headings if thats possible?

I primarily use SCS for playing walk up music for presenters at conferences so most of the existing headings aren't helpful for me. For example it would be really helpful to have a column that I could name as "Artist". I'm currently using the "When required" column for this info but sharing the column for this info is messy.

Is it possible to include a button "add new columns" in the Options > Cue List Columns menu and then be able to change the heading?

Thanks!

We will look into this as a future enhancement for SCS.

Best regards, Dee.
