Stage clock

Post by QRS » Sun May 31, 2020 6:44 pm

Hello.

I use the countdown timer and "warn before ends".

But for one project i have more times during one day to count down to.
So I would like to program a cue to start countdown timer so I dont have to start every time manually.
Any ideas if its possible?

Can you email me your cue file (the .scs11 file) and tell me which cue(s) are involved, and any other relevant info?

Hi QRS,
I'm not sure I understand your question, but I think "Time Based Cues" may help.
Time-Based Cues
In SCS you can specify a time of day for a cue to start. For example, if your show starts at 7:30pm you could have pre-show music you want played from 7:00pm. You can set up this cue to start automatically at 7:00pm so you do not have to be in the sound booth at the time.

Read complete information in the SCS help file.

The pre music and countdown I got working.

But I want countdown to showstart, WITHOUT pre-show music the hole time.
So my workaround is one audiofile that is 20minutes, that has no volume for the first 10 minutes.
But I try to find some more direct way to get countdown.

I tried to use the message cue, but that cue dosent have countdown to end...
