So I've connected my Behringer X18 mixer via USB, declared it in the Control Send device tab as Midi Out and SCS finds it and it's set as active.
So far so good
Set up a Control Send cue to send a MIDI Control Change, Chanel 2, Control # 0 Value 0. This generates the string B1 00 00 - all seems totally reasonable and according to my reckoning reading the mixer documentation this should mute channel 1.
Press Test Control Send (all messages)
ALAS
Nothing seems to happen - am I doing something wrong? if so what? or what might I try to solve this?
BTW I've also tried other channels and a value of 127 instead of 0 - still nothing

Phil Vale.

BTW - MIDI Send is also enabled in the Session Options
Re: Controlling X Air X18 mixer
Have you configured the xair midi settings to received midi via USB? The settings are found in the setup tab in the xair software when connected to the mixer.

Excellent - thank-you sjwicks.
Set the MIDI Config to USB Rx, reran and it worked.
I'd got to the stage that said I was thinking I was missing something pretty simple.
