Drag & Drop problems with SCS 10.1.3

:D I have just loaded version 10.1.3 which by the way got me very exited, at last SCS with VIDEO! http://www.soundcuesystem.com/forum/pos ... e=post&f=1#
:( However I am experiencing problems dragging audio files from an explorer window into the editor cue tree. I have tried different file types which work in version 9.3.6. The WAV files bring up a message:

Error -2147418105 Automation Error
The Callee(server[not server application]) is not available and disapeared; all conections are invalid. The call may have executed.
SCS 10.1.3
ProcName = NewUndoGroup
CueFile = [Untittled]

It gives you a Yes / No option regarding continuing with the program, if you click Yes you get

Error 440 Automation Error
SCS 10.1.3
ProcName = PopulationProdTree
CueFile = [Untittled]

and on another occasion gave:

Error 440 Automation Error
SCS 10.1.3
ProcName = CueStatusChecks i = 1 j = 0 k = 0
CueFile = [Untittled]

Then the whole thing just goes round in a circle until you close the program

On Further experimentation I find that the Cue Tree is exhibiting other problems:

1. If I click or double click on a cue in the Editor Window Cue Tree the cue is not selected in the edit window I can only change the cue in the Edit Window by going out tp the Playback cue stack and selecting there.

2. I cannot drag and drop a cue to a new position in the Cue Tree.

Program running under XP SP2

Am I being stupid or is this a bug?

Thanks
David

:D
At the risk of answering my own question! I seem to have cured the problem and discovered the cause.
and Yes I was being stupid, But in an understandable way.

1. Originally I installed V10 assuming it would over write V9 - It doesn't. and it probably worked fine
2. I then Un-installed V9 answering the question about shared files as NO however something vital was removed!

3. A re-run of the install file has made every thing work fine again. Thank goodness, I have a show tonight.

So if this experience helps anyone else then me looking stupid wont be in vain. I work at a university and we encourage this sort of learning experience.
