Show Cue System

Hi

I am wondering if this software supports the M-Audio products I am looking at using M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R, However if some one can suggest something else that has 8 outputs that would be great.

All work fine, although the Deltas sound MUCH better than the Revs due to balanced outputs and professional output level (+4dBu vs. -10dBu for the Revs)

I also own a FastTrack Pro, but haven't used it for SCS output as yet.

Seems like a nice unit.

I'm curious to know if a USB device can support the bandwdith of 8 simultaneous outs (or ins for that matter) without glitching ... please send us an update when you've worked with it. If it works well, I may want to get one!

It should work no problem as I have no intentions of using the inputs at this point, just the outputs.

I previously used an m-audio firewire 4/10 with 8 audio channels out. Since version 10 of scs I am using an m-audio 18/14 and have 8 channels of audio from the ADAT optical out straight into my Yamaha 01V96 mixer. No wires !! Brilliant !! This also means that the channels 1-16 of the mixer are freed up for band etc. No problems at all so far.

ADAT to the 01v? That's great ...! I posted a thread on this a while ago and at the time nobody seemed to have tried it. Glad to hear you can utilize all eight channels.

tested SCS 10 with following cards:
- Soundblaster PCI (one onboard, one in PCI slot)
- Echo Layla 20
- Marc Marian ADAT card into M7CL
All work fine.

Just thought that I'd throw my 2 cents out there. I have been using an M-Audio Transit USB and an Alesis Multimix 8 USB for about two years now, and have added an M-Audio Quattro USB about 9 months ago. All work beautifully.

Also tried a Maudio Fast track Pro (USB) from a laptop and a Roland (Cakewalk) UA101 USB from a desktop
Both work fine no problems.

Presonus Firebox - 6 balanced outs - May have been discontinued.

Behringer UCA222 - Inexpensive 2 unbalanced outs - I carry one in my computer bag to use in a pinch for FOH music and such.
