cue plays forever - even though no activity on screen

Mike,

just playing with latest 9.4. Not sure how I did it, but I was playing a cue in the editor and closed the editor with the cue playing (it was a looped cue). It kept on playing forever but there was no activity on the screen. Nothing I did would stop the cue playing, short of closing the program - (though I didn't try deleting the cue)

I'm not sure what the architecture of SCS is, but if it's multi-threaded, could a thread that was playing a cue get detached and continue running in the background.

I've not been able to reproduce the problem - if I can find a way to reliably make it happen I'll let you know.

Dave,

Was that cue a time-based cue?

Just found this can also happen with cues using multiple outputs. Both the TBC and the multiple outputs are fixed in 9.4.2.

Mike,

No, just a normal looped cue. Loop start point about 20 seconds in and end point about 30 seconds from end of track, loop length a minute or so.

Just using normal stereo output.

Could you email me the cue file (the .scs file) and tell me which cue this occurred on?
