Inserting multiple cues

Post by HKFooey » Sun Jun 17, 2007 1:53 pm

Dear SCSers,

I've been using this excellent product for a few years now but there is one thing I haven't figured out yet. Is it possible to insert multiple cues at the same time into SCS 8.46?

When I produce the cues for a show I always have them saved in one folder as cue number and name e.g.'Q01 Overture'.

Is it possible to insert these cues in order all at the same time instead of one-by-one?

I currently use SCS 8.46. due to it's stability.
(I have SCS 9.0 but it seems to lead to a lot of problems with crashes on my system.)

Thanks,

HKFooey

You can drag multiple files from explorer into the SCS cue list. Just select all the files you need (in explorer) and drag them into the SCS 'tree' at the point you want them included. If you drag more than one file then SCS will ask you if you want to create separate audio files cues or a single playlist cue. The files will be added in the order explorer presents them, which should be correct using your naming standard.

Yep; that did it! thanks again!

I Should RTFM next time. (Read the fluffin' manual)

In terms of IT support that would be logged as: "PEBCAC" (problem exists between computer and chair.)
