Audigy 5.1

I'm currently searching for help on this board, but I will pose the question and maybe someone can provide insight I haven't found yet.
I am currently running SCS 9.1.6a (After finding 9.2.7 just too unstable to rely on). 916a seems stable and has everything I need for this particular show.
However, I am having particular trouble getting the 5.1 Soundblaster Audigy card to work properly.
When tested through the hardware (The Audigy utilities) is works fine. All channels separate and send properly. However SCS does not. It can't break the front and Rear channels up, and sends front/rear simultaneously. I searched and found the FLOATING POINT solution on this board, but it simply does not work. When I click the FLOATING POINT option, and restart SCS, I get the same problem.
Does anyone else have any other advice for me? This is a real pisser.
Thanks in advance.
