Dear All,

I got a problem when I use SCS with Saffire, I found that the Pan function is not working properly with Saffire Control.

When I am trying to Pan the cue from left to right manually, both the left and right speaker remain have sound.

Is that I need to set something before I use it?

Thanks

Best Wishes,
KMK

In SCS, under View / Options / Sound Devices have you selected 'Speaker(s)' for this device? If so this is why your panning is not being implemented. As noted in the online help there is a temporary restriction in SCS whereby Pan operations are not available for devices that have Speaker(s) selected. The reason for this is the audio library being used by SCS does not provide panning if speakers are selected, and I will have to add code to implement this feature.

There is no restriction on panning if you leave the Speaker(s) field blank. Also, if you want to direct a sound only to the left or the right speaker then you can set up a separate 'Sound Device' for the required physical device and speaker and use that Sound Device in your cue(s).
