SCS with a Korg Nanopad2

Hi There,

First post here, and new user of this software.

I use this one with the Nanopad2 and no issues so far with simple Go, Fade All etc.... Commands, pretty straight forward.
The thing that i am missing, is the ability to add a Cue to a Midi Note and so to be able to recall at any moment. Maybe i missed something, but it only seem to be easily possible with keyboard hotkeys, by just choosing the way the cue starts and choosing the letter.
I was thinking of using a Keyboard to Midi converter on the background for translating my request, but its a little cumbersome, any other way to do it?

I seem to recall having done this in SCS without issues but can't remember if it was with the pad or the keyboard.

Thanks for the help and clarification

I've not really got this far into this area, but I would have thought you could set up specific cues to fire off via the CueControl tab on the Devices page of the Production Profile.

It sort of looks like you shgould be able to fire off a specific cues but it needs to be numbered between 1 & 127.

Maybe worth playing around with a little and see what you get?

Failing that - something like Vicro Listener mor likely Midikey2Key may be able to trap a midi message and translate it into a HotKey keystroke. Certainly that's what Midikey2Key claims to do.

Just some thoughts to play around with

Thanks for post.

I've downloaded CoyoteMidi and their translation page makes the job. Pretty easy.
I just choose the midi pad and the translation Action done deal.

Glad it worked.

There's usually a way round these things - just need a bit of lateral thinking sometimes.
